Billing data: subscription status and Stripe identifiers (we do not store full card numbers).

To provide document explanations and related features (including appeal letter drafting on eligible plans).
To authenticate users via magic login links.
To operate and administer subscriptions through Stripe.
To maintain service quality, prevent abuse, and improve performance.

3. AI Processing

When you submit content for analysis, it may be processed by an AI model provider to generate the explanation. We do not intentionally use your submitted content to train our own models.

Note: AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify details with your insurer or provider.

We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality (such as maintaining sessions) and for analytics (e.g., understanding which pages are used and how the product performs).

5. How We Share Data

We share only what is necessary with service providers that help us operate DocumentDecoder, such as:

Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
Resend — email delivery for login links and essential account communications.
AI Model Provider (OpenAI) — processing submitted text to generate explanations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We retain submitted content only as needed to provide the service (for example, to show recent results or history). Retention may vary by plan and feature availability. You may request deletion at any time.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
